Detailed Description

(Flint, MI 48532) The position of Maintenance Craftsman will be required to perform a variety of vocational skills such as welding, plumbing and electrical trouble shooting. This position pays $12.50 an hour.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

* Welding
Fabricating and repairing tooling
Repair work

* Plumbing
Pipe sweating
Use of adhesive materials when working with PVC pipe and fittings
Repair or installation of black pipe

* Understanding of electrical
Read blue prints and Schematic
Trouble shoot motor starters, switches and relays
Installation of electrical boxes and conduit
Employee will be required to work with high voltage circuits such as 480V, 230V, 120V

* Pumps
Repairing all types, horizontal, vertical,] metering and centrifugal.

* Preventative Maintenance
Entering confined spaces safely
Cleaning of all types of tanks
Working with Hazardous chemicals safely
Completing all Paperwork required

* Communication of parts ordering and ]equipment as needed to the Maintenance Manager in writing

* Directing of Maintenance Assistants and or other employe' if it pertains to a repair or breakdown in the systems or PM Maintenance

* Enforcing Company policies

* Any other related job functions

Qualifications

General Requirements:

* Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

* Must not be claustrophobic.

* Must not have a fear of heights.

* Must be able to climb a ladder.

* Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test.

* Must be able to wear a respirator.

* Must have valid driver's license
