Maintenance Technician needed for a 3rd shift opportunity with a local company in South Bend, IN.

Description

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift opportunity.  This candidate maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Essential functions include:
-Identifies and implements preventive maintenance requirements on production machinery
-Diagnose, repair, install and adjusts production machinery (hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems) as needed
Using blueprints, schematics and test equipment to diagnose equipment and machinery problems or malfunctions
-Scheduling maintenance repairs in a way that will effect production the least
-Following all safety precautions including lockout/tagout
-Enhances communication by receiving and following instructions; verbally discuss maintenance issues with manager, supervisor, and co-workers; cooperate with all employees; document information in writing
-Prepares documentation by completing required paperwork accurately and completely in a timely manner
-Maintain safe and clean work environment by following all safety precautions; store equipment properly; keep area clean and organized; maintain all tools and equipment

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess:
-Minimum of 2 years of recent and verifiable machine maintenance experience
-Strong electronics background
-Strong ability to diagnose electrical issues with our machinery, including CNC bender
-You must also have your own tools.
