Inventory Specialist

Description

Inventory Specialist for a busy plastics manufacturing facility.  Candidate will assist in developing targets for inventory, team training and maintaining good customer and supplier relationships.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide traditional and computer-oriented support as required for shipping/                  receiving, production control, accounting, quality, and purchasing (MRO)                  functions.
* Monitor inventory levels and accuracy.
* Help with problem solving systems and team problems.
* Assist analysts and handlers
* Work with Manufacturing Accountant to co-ordinate BOM changes
* Communicate critical problems to Plant Controller
* Monitor and control service order fulfillment
* Plan and co-ordinate inventories as required.
* Work with IT to set up systems and get the reports needed to perform daily                 tasks and responsibilities.
* Conduct financial analysis to determine inventory levels.
* Establish and maintain zone reconciliation process
* Establish and maintain cycle count program
* Generate scrap report
* Overtime is required to meet internal and external customer requirements.
* Performs any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates must have 5 years experience and be drug free.
