Staff Engineer responsible for new technologies focusing on machine automation

Great opportunity for an Engineer with an ag background!  Will desgn new an dmodify existing electro-mechanical hardware and software controls for use in automated machinery. Meet customer requirements and use needs with automated machines. Manage projects and be able to transfer new technology to the product development team.

Qualifications

5+ years Product Engineering or Research experience. 3+ yrs embedded software development. 3+ yrs vehicle-level guidance using GPS. 3+ yrs working with vehicle-mounted object detection sensors. Agricultural background with experience in: safety analysis of complex subsytems, hydraulic or dynamic systems, control of autonomous or robotic equipment, sensors for automated machinery, and wired and wirless communication networks (CAN, Ethernet, WiFi).  Candidate must have experience with object oriented software design.  Masters in Engineering or BS in Engineering with equivalent experience in software, electronics, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
