Description

Our customer is looking for an experienced CDL Driver who will be responsible for driving inventory from our warehouse to showsite facilities and other local cities.  Other responsibilities include:
Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all local/state/federal regulations and all company safety policies.
Prepare receipts for load delivery and pick up as well as maintain thetruck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Assist in the loading and the unloading of inventory from the truck.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Assist with all truck moves, including tractor-trailers and straight truck needs
Make sure all trailers are kept maintained for safety control at all times and perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
Fulfill all Department of Transportation requirements, including periodic medical evaluations; completing forms for driver qualification file; and completing hours-of-service and vehicle inspection logs.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
You must be at least 23 years of age in order to apply to this job.
You must also have a valid Commercial Drivers License along with a Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.
