Primary role of the transport driver is to deliver product from a plant to various locations. Move racks or dollies of finished products. Material handling equipment, Loading and unloading trailers.

Description

Delivers finished goods to plants, meets, depots, stores and/or shipping customers based on established routes
Daily inspection of equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintains driver log in accordance with DOT regulations
Completes Driver Trip Report and turns in daily
Understands and practices safe driving standards
Utilizes various machines/tools including: loading ramps, hydraulic lifts, tire chains, load bars, load plate, fuel pump and map book; Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner

Qualifications

Documentation of a high school diploma or completed GED
Minimum of 2 years prior truck driving experience
Knowledge of and ability to operate a heavy truck
23 years of age
Valid Class A CDL
