Use of Coordinate Measuring Machine to perform inspection of metal components..

Description

Our client is a an industry leader in design, machining and fabrication for the defense and alternative energy industries and they are looking to add a CMM Inspector to their team!
Responsibilities will be:
1 Performing inspections of in-process and/or finished products according to procedures.
2 Use of all quality inspection tools and equipment.
3 Documenting all instances of rejected product or raw material problems.
4 Inspecting incoming raw materials as materials are received.
5 Documenting appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each part required.
6 Creating and maintaining current files for all quality related correspondence.
7 Resolving customer complaints or problems in regard to rejected or non-conformance.
8 Reporting any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
7 Suggesting new testing or inspection methods to minimize inspection efforts.
8 Training co-workers in quality control concepts as requested.
9 Remaining current on quality control practices and trends.

Qualifications

Oral/Written Communication Skills, Time Management, Keyboard Skills,
Organization, Material Requirements Planning, Computer Skills, Planning, Project Mgmt, Math Aptitude,
Blue Print Reading, Technical Communication Skills.
Education & Training:  High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior related work experience helpful.
Experience:  Prior inspection experience, PC DMIS 4.3 knowledge required, GD&T knowledge required.
