Engineering Manager needed in Michigan City, IN.

Description

Trillium Staffing Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager whom will be responsible for product development engineering and product support engineering as it relates to compressor controls and communications.

Other primary responsibilities include:
-Direct and coordinate engineering activities
-Works with global engineering and business leadership team to plan and execute product development activities
-Leads the engineering activities in support of operations, sales and field service
-Development and training of personnel to meet the short and long term goals of the organization
-Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization and production issues individually and with team
-Reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess:
-BS degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
-7-10+ years relevant experience required
-Familiarity with Visual Basic, C++, Ethernet protocol, GPS, Cellular technology, and machine controls a plus
-High energy, technical leader with highly engineered industrial machinery experience
-Strong experience in time management and project management
-Capital planning/forecasting and cost management are beneficial
-Experience with industrial diesel engine driven equipment and phase-gate design process is a plus
