Description

The NVH Engineer will be responsible for meeting competitive performance NVH objectives by using state of the art NVH development methods.  You will be working with component and system design engineering, the NVH virtual analysis team and suppliers to develop component designs that meet subsystem and vehicle level targets.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, - Electrical, Noise Control, or Systems - Engineering from an ABET Accredited University.
- 2 years experience.
- Capable of understanding free body diagrams and performing both static and dynamic analysis of forces applied to the body.
- Experience with powertrain NVH integration.
- Experience in the use of CAE analysis as part of the NVH development process.
- Ability to create summary reports of findings and present results to management.
- Highly motivated and posseses the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of natural frequencies and system resonance coupling.
- Previous experience working with high voltage componentry.
- Knowledgable of typical hybrid and electric vehicle powertrain components and the NVH issues they can create.
- Knowledge of LMS data acquisition system.
- Knowledge of typical issue resolution procedures for structure borne and airborne noises.
