Description

A major automotive supplier is in need of a Product Engineer. The candidate will Interface with respective research and product engineering personnel and set program timing and deliverables.

Qualifications

- B.S. /M.S. in Materials, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering from an ABET Accredited university.
- A minimum of 5 years industrial experience with an automotive supplier or an OEM body structure design and development.
- PMP Certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills especially with engineering and technical applications in conjunction with all level of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
- Experience with the management of government funded research programs
- The ability to develop long and short term strategies for vehicle light weighting to achieve future CAFE and regulatory green-house   emissions requirements.
- Experience with CAE analysis
- Strong presentation skills
