CNC Programmer for Job Shop machining.. They will be using Solid works and G codes.

Description

CNC Programmer in a machine shop to determine the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the cutting tools needed. Analyzes job orders, drawings, blueprints and other data and then perform all the necessary calculations. Writes programs or modify existing programs than store them on company database. After programming, ensure that the machines and programs operate correctly and that products meet specifications. This work often includes CAD blueprints or Solid Models, determining where to cut, and other calculations. Knowledge of Solid Works is necessary.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate ability to write G Code programs fluently thru Master CAM for both Mill and Lathe. In addition, they need reading comprehension, knowledge of mathematics and use of active listening skills. Critical thinking, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Requires 3 or more years experience with G Code programming
Must know Solid works
