CAD/CAM Designer. We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced CAD/CAM Designer. Full time opportunity with a great company! Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Prepares and revises complex electronic sketches, plans, and drawings. 2. Produces complex 3D solid (or surfaces) of parts. 3. Produces CNC programs with hardcopy instructions to produce tooling. 4. Produces CNC programs and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) paperwork for parts. 5. Produces inspection models and vector data for the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). 6. Consults with other personnel to assist with analyzing and plotting data from the CMM. 7. Prepares part information for estimating purposes. 8. Prepares Bills of Material (B.O.M.) for all components designed and released to the shop. 9. Assists with the identification and coordination of outside vendors who produce hardware released for build, obtain quotes as required, and answers technical questions. 10. Releases final engineering drawings and specifications to the shop and purchasing dept. 11. Updates, files, copies, and issues drawings and B.O.M. as required. 12. Supports the shop by implementing drawing revisions and researching necessary information. 13. Trains new designers and coaches less-skilled employees to optimize job performance.

Qualifications

An Associates Degree in CAD/CAM Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent job-related experience and training is a plus. Proficiency in 3D CAD software is required with a minimum of three years experience in both modeling and manufacturing modules.
