2nd Shift Mill Set-up/Operator

Description

An industry leader in design, machining and fabrication is seeking a Machinist with at least 7 years experience in machining large complex parts.  5-axis machining experience a plus.  Set-up from set-up sheet to assure part is fixtured and tooled according to the manner in which the part was programmed.  Load and verify NC programs and return to programming dept. for control and storage.  Solid understanding of GD&T and inspection (first article and in-process).  Edit NC programs at the machine for minor changes to the process (tool changes, R-plane heights, etc.)  Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must have own tools and be able to read blueprints, programming is a plus. Must also be able to work overtime, including weekends.
