Senior Process Engineer

Are you a Process Engineer who can take charge and be an effective leader?  We are currently looking for a Process Engineer with experience in the Paper Manufacturing industry.  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:                         
1. Evaluate the current performance of all unit operations within the Recycled Fiber plant from pressing thru solids handling.
2. Develop routine testing regime for monitoring and controlling the plant’s performance to achieve overall productivity and quality objectives.
3. Recommend and implement equipment optimization strategies.
4. Yield optimization
5. Optimize water balance.
6. Work with chemical vendors to optimize/reduce chemical usages.                   
7. Develop and implement closed loop process control where appropriate.
8. Ensure plant and equipment is operated safely.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Paper Science or related degree.
At least 3-5 years in a Process Improvement in a Paper Manufacturing environment.
Recycled Paper/ Fibers experience a plus
Boiler Operation experience a plus.
