Description
Billing Specialist- Researches all information and performsseries of tasks needed to complete the billing process. May preform charge entry functions on the computer system as it relates to the patient’s visit. Researches CPT, ICD-9, and modifier codes as they apply to the patient’s visit. Enters CPT, ICD-9, and modifier codes as they apply to the patient within 3 business days from date recieved. Post payments and collection payments. Professional Coder Certification is a plus.
Qualifications
CPC certification Preferred.
