Description

Online Marketing Coordinator/Specialist working under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Online Marketing Coordinator or Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Internet-based advertising efforts of a business. Responsibilities include: Ensure the company’s brand image or the features of the company that make it recognizable to the public are well represented online. Cooperate with other marketing team professionals to ensure that the brand being displayed online is in line with efforts offline, such as print material. Manage the company’s website, advertisements on other websites, e-mail mailing list blasts, blogs, podcasts, and accounts on social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter.
Optimize the company’s search engine results
* paid and organic, ensuring that the company’s website is easily located by search engines and shows up at the top of searches for certain keywords. Study market research that provides information about the target customers the company is interested in, which leads to informed choices about what sites are most beneficial for advertising. Email/Direct Mail Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate campaign elements with marketing team, manage the email marketing tool and database, execute the campaigns and measure the success. Web analytics and reporting: Analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources as needed (customer database, Google Analytics, custom Web reporting tools, etc.) . Work with the Marketing team to deliver continuous improvement in campaign management, reporting and analysis, budget tracking and effective communications.

Qualifications

BA in marketing preferably with course work in online or Internet marketing. Previous experience in website design is also beneficial.  Minimum of 3 years experience in business to business direct marketing. Demonstrate initiative, superior project management skills, detail-oriented, results-oriented, and the ability to undertake complex initiatives with minimal supervision. Experience working with project budgets and a proven track record of executing successful lead generation campaigns. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. Familiarity with Salesforce.com, search engine optimization programs, and direct email/campaign software is also desired.
