EH&S Coordinator

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for overall Environmental and Safety Compliance for the Iowa City Plant
* Regulatory reporting for state and federal regulations as they apply to the coating of plastic automotive parts, the ability to quantify air pollutant emissions and to develop appropriate algorithms to applicable air pollution control technologies
* Developing and maintaining programs to comply with waste rules under the resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
* Responsibility for the Environmental Management (ISO 14001) is included
* For Health and Safety responsibilities will consist of developing a program, initiating training, and maintaining compliance with the OSHA Standards for General Industry.
* Accident Investigation, regulatory reporting, and claim management is also included

Qualifications:

* Must have a BA Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience, preferably in the automotive or plastics industry, and the ability to work well in a team environment, be effective in implementation of programs
* Must possess good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of employees and management
