Trailer Technician Supervisor.

Description

Trailer Technician Supervisor.  We are currently seeking supervisory level applicants for a semi truck service facility in the Fox Valley.  This person will be in charge of a shift of other trailer technicians but will also be doing hands on service and repair work.  This individual will be responsible for performing trailer repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with in-house and manufacturers’ standards.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience over Trailer Technicians/Mechanics
Ability to prioritize and delegate work based on customer demands and expectations.
Good oral and written communication skills
Hands on ability to determine semi trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications
Maintaining trailer records by annotating services and repairs
Proven, hands on experience as a leader in a trailer/ tractor shop environment.
