Detailed Description
CERTIFIED WELDER - Previously certified in at least one of these welding processes; SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW. Prefer certification to ASME Section IX but will consider candidate certified to AWS D1.1, MIL STD, or API. Must have at least a basic skill in structural blueprint interpretation. Expertise not required but have basic working knowledge. 3.Positive work history. 4.Prefer but do not require welding related formal education in High School, Trade School, military service, etc. Candidates should be available for weld test consisting of GTAW Open Route TIG on mild steel 6” diameter pipe with a 3/8’ wall in the 6G position (pipe is fixed at a 45 degree angle)
