Complementary Systems Analsyt/Programmer - Bachelors Degree required.

Description

The US Mainframe/Complementary Systems teams are responsible for all complementary applications typically tightly coupled to legacy mainframe applications and stand-a-lone corporate applications. This role entails all aspects of supporting custom and packaged client server applications primarily in North America including programming, process and best practice definition, documentation, governance and testing, as well as any integration points to complementary, legacy and SAP applications.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Minimum 5 years in-depth programming experience with client server development tools VB.NET, VB 6, VB Script/Batch Scripting, Microsoft OS, Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Office (Access/VBA). Ability to pick up new development tools easily. Exposure to ASP.NET, Powerbuilder, Java/Javascript, XML,Unix, Delphi desirable. Good understanding of customization standards and oracle database structure. Able to demonstrate knowledge of the integration points across all key modules. Considers the future requirements / i.e. not just reactive and short term. Able to operate with MS Word, Excel, Power-point, Access etc. Highly motivated and able to work outside of your comfort zone. Ability to adapt communication according to the audience : from pure business to 100% technical. Ability to interact strongly with the business, identify opportunities for improvement and influence necessary business change as required. Manage and function well under tight timeframes - manage multiple priorities concurrently. Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself. Capability to manage small projects. Prepared and capable to challenge constructively and at the correct time. Consider the bigger picture and future direction of the organization while designing solutions and managing change. Flexible and willing to travel. Good written and verbal English communication skills.
