Description
Engine Engineering Product Development / Release Engineer - Integration/Releasing/Validation
Engine Cooling System / Thermal Management System engineer: Design and develop Engine components/ systems for new engine program. Using Function models and DFMEA’s to identify and document potential failure modes and to create a DVP. Documentation of DVP results: analysis, bench testing, dynamometer testing, vehicle testing, to support the reliability validation of the engine system.
Ensure production procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel. Test finished product for quality purposes and recommend changes to product specifications as necessary.
Qualifications
Good knowledge of engines and engine engineering. Good knowledge of automotive engine timing drive systems. Good written and verbal communications skills. Can create and use Design DFMEA’s and DVP&R’s. BSME Mechanical Engineering. 2 years engine design and development.
