Qualifications

1.Minimum age of twenty-three (23) 2.Minimum of two (2) years of experience driving commercial motor vehicles of the type expected to be utilized. 3.Possession of valid Commercial Driver’s license issued by the resident state of the driver with any endorsements further required by TDS. 4.No record of a driver’s license suspension or revocation for any reason during the thirty-six month’s prior to the date of the Motor Vehicle Report. 5.No record of citation or convictions for the violations listed below during the thirty-six (36) month’s (unless otherwise noted) prior to the date of the MVR. a.Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (7 years) b.Refusal to take a test provided for by an implied consent or similar law. . 6.No record of citation or conviction for more than 3 motor vehicle violations excluding those listed above (any one of which is sufficient to cause disqualification), during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR. 7.No record of involvement in more than two (2) preventable accidents while operating a motor vehicle during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR.
8.No record of involvement in two (2) or more preventable accidents and two (2) or more moving violations during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR.
9.No record of involvement in one (1) or more preventable accidents and three (3) or more moving violations during the thirty-six (36) months prior to the date of the MVR.
