Electrical Engineering -
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the original design of electrical/electronic control systems employed on machine tools, processes, test and gaging equipment. Upon assignment the incumbent generally conceptualizes a design with sketches or with the use of Auto CAD. Purchase requisitions are initiated by the incumbent for all necessary components to be utilized in the newly designed system. Final design and purchased component selections are generally reviewed by thee immediate supervisor prior to project consummation.

The incumbent is responsible for complete documentation including bill of materials, panel layout, wiring diagrams, ladder logic (software) and push button stations. Documentation must be complete enough so that the in-house build personnel or outside contractor can order components and build identical system without the incumbent’s in-dept participation.

Education: Must have Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Must have working knowledge of relay logic, micro-processor based control systems, programmable control systems, and CNC systems is a prerequisite.
