Powertrain Product Engineer needed - long term position

Description

Work with the rest of the Process group to support the PowerTrain Process Improvement Initiative throughout PowerTrain as they develop PowerTrain controls solutions including, Systems, Controls, Software, and Calibration. Perform process gap assessments, develop Process Improvement Tactical Plan to manage the CMMI initiative, maintain the Dept.7930 process website, monitor the progress of the PI activities and reports to management, provide coaching, mentoring, training, and support to staff, facilitate process meeting, collect and report software metrics and conduct quality assurance audits.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in CMM/CMMI (or similar process improvement initiatives such as ISO or SPICE) process development. Knowledge and pragmatic application of a a defined development process
MS Office applications. Experience with engineering standard measurement techniques and tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. BSEE, BSCE or BSCS.
