Powertrain Electrical Engineer

Description

The position we seek is for an electronic hardware design engineer that will be responsible for design and development of electronic powertrain control modules in a team oriented environment.

Qualifications

Candidate must be able to successfully perform all of the following:  - Design and development of electronic circuits with an emphasis on digital and communications circuit design - Electronic control module component development via laboratory   vehicle investigations.  - Electronic control module verification via laboratory   vehicle investigations   - Program management of electronic component development.  Applicant must be able to effectively interface with external suppliers through verbal and written communications   Candidate must be able to effectively interface and communicate with the module customers as well as the module manufacturers.  Candidate must have excellent technical writing skills.  Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Word, Excel, Visio and Lotus Notes.  Candidate should be a self-starter, and should have a background in electronics hardware design specializing in analog and digital circuit design.  Candidate should have knowledge of vehicle electrical systems as well as the CAN multiplexed communication buses.  Some schematic capture and circuit simulation capability is desired.
