Position Summary:                               
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to; daily shift supervision of the clinical aspects of the Emergency Department and other outpatient clinical departments as assigned, coordinating care with patient/family, physicians, ancillary departments, and outside facilities/agencies; is responsible for organization and maintenance of patient education materials; to serve as a resource person for staff and is responsible for organizing yearly competency days; varied clinical duties; other functions that may be assigned.

Qualifications:
* RN with a current license to practice in the State of Michigan.
* BSN or credits towards BSN preferred.
* Must hold, or obtain within ninety (90) days of hire or transfer, Health Care Provider Certification.
* Must hold or obtain within six (6) months of hire or transfer, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred.
* Minimum three years acute care emergency department experience required.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) within ninety (90) days of hire, and annually thereafter
* Previous Emergency Department management experience preferred

Qualifications
