Heavy Diesel Shop Foreman / Maintenance Manager.  Will oversee shop and plant maintenance including heavy diesel engine service/repair and fixed plant equipment.

Seeking a highly motivated and organized Shop Foreman proficient in heavy diesel engine service and repair.  Responsibilities include managing shop operations, rolling stock and fixed plant equipment maintenance.  Individual will ensure maximum availability of all equipment through shop operation and process improvements.  Seeking a take-charge leader that is “hands-on” while at the same time can create an environment where every employee contributes and is responsible for the success of the team as a whole.

Requirements include:
* Computer proficiency (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) including maintenance oriented software used to track preventative maintenance, costs, etc.
* Must be proficient in and have a minimum of 5 years of “hands-on” heavy diesel engine service and repair experience (Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, etc.)
* Full flexibility pertaining to shifts and on-call status.

Responsibilities include:
* Safety - conduct meetings, perform audits, create reports and set policies to ensure compliance and a safe environment.
* Order Fulfillment (needs schedules, time-lines, etc), Purchasing, Quality Control & Inventory Management (parts, consumables, attachments, etc).
* Plant Maintenance - will be responsible for developing a working knowledge of plant systems including conveyors, reclaims, stackers, ship loaders, etc.  Will oversee maintenance mechanic for plant equipment.
* General Administration including scheduling, training and reporting.

Qualifications

5 years of heavy diesel engine repair and service experience.
Proficient in MS Office and asset control software.
Hands-on, organized and a self-starter.
