Account Representative

Description

The Account Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers and new business opportunities. Our sales force focuses on selling voice and data products: local, long distance, DSL and Internet services in the Telecom industry. Specific responsibilities include cold calling to identify leads and generate new accounts, contacting and setting appointments with prospects, exploring and identifying needs, conducting pre-meeting research on leads to understand their company, evaluating the market, and matching the needs of prospects with the services.  Account Representative in this role will take personal responsibility for the care of the customer from closing through transition to the team responsible for retention and growth of the account..

Qualifications

Experience with outside sales.
