Job Requirements

*Applicants need to be read and understand architectural & structural design plans from which structural & misc steel, shop, and erections drawings are made and create shop drawings with a high degree of accuracy.
*Applicants need to be familiar with X-steel detailing software or SDS2 Software and be able to work independently to produce optimized detail and fabrication drawings.
* Must have hands on experience as a Detailer
* Must have an understanding of construction standards
* Should have a minimum of 2 years related drafting/design background preferably in steel construction environment
* At least 2 years experience in structural or miscellaneous steel or steel joist construction preferred
*Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must and the ability to work well with others.
* To qualify for the Checker position, candidate must have 8-10 years specific experience in this field
