Description

Expanding steel fabrication and supplier operation needs an experienced Plant Manager for their Elma, WA, Nuclear Plant division.  All candidates should be highly motivated, self-starters, with the experience and skill necessary to successfully manage numerous simultaneous projects/ Departments (100-150 people) and deliver on-time, on-budget.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

10+ years experience as a plant/operations manager, 5-10yrs years of which in large steel fabrication job shops. Experience with Kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques. Main role is to oversea structural steel fabrication production engineering and production shops, including operating efficiency analysis and improvements in facility layout, work force utilization, production processes and costs, process flowcharts, production schedules, product quality, production equipment maintenance, management of production materials, management of production managers and design/drafting department, design management of control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis and control, and coordination with shop managers, supervisors and project managers. Will also Promote and enforce Safety & Health Standards.
